How To Pick Winning Lotto Numbers Powerball

If you are looking for a sure way with which you can pick winning Powerball numbers, you’ve come to the right place. This article tells you how to pick winning Powerball numbers so you can come out successful in a Powerball draw.

Powerball has no doubt reached the peak of its popularity these past months. Internet searches for online sites that host Powerballs have doubled in numbers. Moreover, more and more people are logging online to find out how to pick winning Powerball numbers in the hopes of winning the next Powerball draw and taking home the jackpot or any Powerball prize. But what is Powerball in the first placec How do you play itc

Powerball, the first game ever to use two drums in its core game, is an all-American lottery game that is being sold through United States lotteries as one of the shared jackpot pool games. The Multi-State Lottery Association or MUSL, which is a non-profit organization created by an official agreement understood by all member lotteries, coordinates the workings of Powerball, which includes the development of new games, management of finances, conduction of draws, and other services. Thus, there are several states – thirty-one all in all – that offer Powerball. Because Powerball makes use of not just one but two drums, it allows more flexibility as far as game design it concerned, attracting more players compared with other lotto games. It has a higher possibility of low odds for other prizes but high odds for the jackpot. This two-drum feature is now being used by the United Kingdom’s EuroMillions and Thunderball, Australia’s Powerball, and the United States’ Mega Millions.
In order to know how to pick winning Powerball numbers, you must first know how to play the game. The first thing you have to do is to choose five numbers ranging from one to fifty-five. These are the white balls. Then you have to choose one number ranging from one to forty-two. This is the red ball, also known as the Powerball. Most Powerball hosts offer a Power Play feature, which makes use of a random multiplier through the use of a special wheel. What can be multiplied are the prizes in all levels except the main prize or the jackpot.

People who play Powerball should know how to pick winning Powerball numbers because the chances of winning in this particular lotto game is higher compared to the chances of winning offered by other lotto games. In fact, the overall probability of winning a Powerball prize is one in thirty-six (35.1, to be precise), and this ratio is said to go higher in the coming year. In February of 2006, the jackpot was won by one ticket in Nebraska, and the amount was a stunning 5 million, shared by eight workers in a meat plant. If you want to have the same luck, you need to employ a good amount of logic first.

The most sound advice on how to pick winning Powerball numbers is to use a software package that analyzes the odds of winning according to the odds of certain numbers coming up in a Powerball draw. Many Powerball winners have expressed their support for this kind of strategy for a number of reasons. For one, using a software package deals away with any emotional attachment that may cloud your judgment in choosing possible winning numbers. Another reason is that using a software package allows you to see the history of all the draws and the numbers that usually come up. History repeats itself, so they say, and this really holds true in lottery games.

Finally, Powerball winners recommend this proven strategy because it worked for them – and there’s no reason why it can’t work for you too.

I am into playing the lotto and powerball. Does anyone know the science of arranging numbers to hit?
I just recently got started playing the lotto and powerball. Getting ready to play pick three as well. I really want to know how to increase my chances to win. I know there is a science to playing instead of luck. Want the best answer soon as possible. Getting ready to play this week.

All lotteries are totally random events, there is no mathmatically consistant way to increase your chances of winning such that the amount you win on average will be more than the amount you win by playing “some other way”

The numbers drawn in previous draws have no effect on the numbers to be drawn in the future, if one week draw is 12 14 15, the next weeks draw is just as likely to be 12,14,15 again as it is for any other combination of numbers.

You could increase the frequency over time that you win by buying more lottery tickets, but you will still lose more than you win.

The house advantage on lotteries are HUGE and they should just be avoided all together, casino games offer much better house advantages, you should play them instead if you want to best your chances at winning money.

The lottery was initially developed as a way to raise extra government revenue, it is known as the “fools tax” for this reason, so just dont play it.

    100% scam.

There is no International Powerball, Nokia, Shell, BBC, Yahoo, Coca-Cola, MSN, Microsoft, BMW or any other company in the entire world that sponsors a lottery that notifies winners via email, phone call or text.

Any phone number that starts with +44-70 or anything similar is not based in the United Kingdom. It is from a UK based cell phone redirect service that can be answered by anyone anywhere in the world. It is a favorite service of scammers who want to pretend to be in the United Kingdom but are really half way around the world from there.

The next email will be from another of the scammer’s fake names and free email addresses pretending to be the “lottery official” and will demand you pay for made-up fees and taxes, in cash, and only by Western Union or moneygram.

Western Union and moneygram do not verify anything on the form the sender fills out, not the name, not the street address, not the country, not even the gender of the receiver, it all means absolutely nothing. The clerk will not bother to check ID and will simply hand off your cash to whomever walks in the door with the MTCN# and question/answer. Neither company will tell the sender who picked up the cash, at what store location or even in what country your money walked out the door. Neither company has any kind of refund policy, money sent is money gone forever.

Now that you have responded to a scammer, you are on his ‘potential sucker’ list, he will try again to separate you from your cash. He will send you more emails from his other free email addresses using another of his fake names with all kinds of stories of great jobs, lottery winnings, millions in the bank and desperate, lonely, sexy singles. He will sell your email address to all his scamming buddies who will also send you dozens of fake emails all with the exact same goal, you sending them your cash via Western Union or moneygram.

Do you know how to check the header of a received email? If not, you could google for information. Being able to read the header to determine the geographic location an email originated from will help you weed out the most obvious scams and scammers. Then delete and block that scammer. Don’t bother to tell him that you know he is a scammer, it isn’t worth your effort. He has one job in life, convincing victims to send him their hard-earned cash.

Whenever suspicious or just plain curious, google everything, website addresses, names used, companies mentioned, phone numbers given, all email addresses, even sentences from the emails as you might be unpleasantly surprised at what you find already posted online. You can also post/ask here and every scam-warner-anti-fraud-busting site you can find before taking a chance and losing money to a scammer.

If you google “fake yahoo lottery”, “lotto Western Union fraud” or something similar, you will find hundreds of posts of victims and near-victims of this type of scam.

Have you ever won any amount of money from the lottery?
I always hear about these people who have won the lottery like 4 times in a row or who buy a scratch ticket and win 20 dollars, exchange it, and then win 2500000 dollars.
I have played the Lottery, Powerball, and Cash 5, for years and have never won anything except a few dollars. I am interested in knowing if anyone has a strategy for the numbers they pick or if they continually replay the same numbers every week?
I am also interested in finding out how people win at scratch games as well?

However you play the lotto games, I would love to hear how you do it and find out whether it works or if it doesn’t?

The highest prize that I’ve won is $1,000.

You’re far more likely to have prizes with scratch off games and far more frequently. I had a four out of five match on Mega Millions once and it only netted me $150, but I’ve won three $50 prizes on scratchoff games in a row, $100 and $200 wins are not uncommon with scratch offs.

How do when know that the Powerball and state lottos are not rigged?
I live in Indiana and nobody has won the lotto in forever. Several times the lotto has been bigger than the Powerball with over 10 times the likelihood of winning than the Powerball lottery itself. Surely they can keep track of all the numbers out there and somehow rig the machine to not pick those numbers or to pick the numbers that certain individual related to the inside have. What kind of controls if any are in place to protect those of us who play? Is it possible mafia and or corrupt individual’s are taking advantage? Any information or respectful opinions will be appreciated.
lil dark zero, lotto is short for lottery and is what our state lottery is called (Hossier Lotto).
aladdinwa, by not question nor fighting corruption is just how we can be taken advantage of on a daily basis. For example war profiteering is going on like crazy over in Iraq. In a 60 billion dollar audit they found over 10 billion of it totally and completely unaccounted for. That is your money and mine. Tax payers get raped all the time by pork barrel politics and what is done about it? It’s about all we can do just to keep it shored up to a some degree. So in light of all this let me ask you, if we are getting taken advantage of almost in an in your face way what’s to stop those in control of such lotteries from taken gross advantage of the players for their own personal gain?
HartleyBaldwin, commissions and accountants are not free from the influence of corruption either. As for making a lot of money being a reason they would not cheap I beg to differ. Greed sometimes grows in correspondence with the money you have access to.

    • John F says:

It is in the best interest of the lottery to have a big winner. Big winners bring big publicity, which increases sales.

Remember also that Indiana is only a single state. Powerball is played in 29 states (including Indiana).

There just aren’t as many people buying the Indiana tickets as Powerball tickets. Even though the odds may be 10 times better on the Indiana lotto, there probably 100 times as many people buying Powerball.
